How can I get a cake?

Please fill out our custom order form for a quote. Click here. We recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance for best availability.  However, we do have new Party Packages (non-customizable) available with only a weeks notice!

Do you have a store front?

You can find our products at Markets by Dream Day weekly and at local events.  

If you would like to see us with a shop one day, then keep showing us love! We can't do it without your support!

Do you offer nut free/ gluten free/egg free?

No. All products are on a may contain basis. Please click here to read our allergy warning.

Do you deliver?

Yes we deliver within the GTA and Durham. Delivery fees vary depending on distance. For a quote, please provide us with event location.

How do I transport my cake?

Chill your cake very well before travel, especially for longer drives. Your vehicle should be enclosed, clean and air-conditioned with a flat/level surface to set the cake on. Seats and laps are not level. Remove loose objects that could fall onto or roll into the cake. Keep car and cake as cold as possible during transport, and away from direct sunlight. Drive carefully! Turns, stops, and starts should be performed extremely slow. Avoid bumps, hills, gravel roads, and use a slow speed on curves. We will not replace or refund cakes damaged once they have left our supervision.

Allergy Warning

May contain traces of tree nuts, peanuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and alcohol.  Please notify us of any other allergies.


Serving and Storage

Our cakes and frosted desserts are best served at room temperature. Cakes and cupcakes should be left out of the fridge for 1 to 2 hours before serving for buttercream to soften and best flavours. Cakes and other desserts should be covered and stored in the refrigerator overnight and when not being served. Please ask us if you have any concerns.


The cake must be returned to be considered for a refund. Once the cake is sliced and served it will be deemed satisfactory for the event intended.


Due to our full schedule and custom nature of the products, cancellation refunds are not offered. If the event is rescheduled with a minimum of 2 weeks notice, your deposit can be transferred to the new date, subject to availability, and expires within two months of the original date. If custom purchasing has begun for your order, refunds, order changes or transfers may not be applicable. 



In the case of fresh florals and flower usage, we will do our best to provide appropriate flowers. However, ultimate responsibility of the floral safety will rest with the florist and not Poirier’s Pastries.  


Heat and Outdoor Events

Cakes and desserts are made with ingredients that will melt when it is hot. We do not recommend cakes and desserts be left outdoors or in warm areas. If you have chosen to have your cakes/desserts displayed in direct sunlight, in an outdoor area, or in an area without air-conditioning, we are not responsible for damage, including: melting, debris from wind, insects or un-level ground, or any other effect of the chosen environment.  


Pick up waiver

If you have chosen to have your cake or desserts picked up,  we will do our best to advise you how to transport your cake/desserts. However, we are NOT responsible for any damage to cake or desserts once it has left our supervision. We will not replace or refund damaged cakes/desserts. 

Artist License Disclaimer

We will always make our best effort to bring your cake vision to life, however every cake is hand crafted and is subject to artistic interpretation. You may provide us with photographic inspiration for your order. We reserve the right to make changes to the design at any point in the process in order to benefit the aesthetic, as seen fit by our cake decorators. 



We photograph our desserts and reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotional uses without client compensation or permission.
